  I ended up in the back room of the KH today

  our public talk and wt study is on saturdays.

  i was informed by an elder that i shouldn't leave right away after the meeting.. immediately i had a sinking feeling in my stomach.

  but not as bad as i would have felt about it months ago.

  I hope you make the decision to qiut and just do it, the longer this goes on the longer you hurt yourself in the long run. Also, it just gives them opportunity to gossip, slander, and start the smear campaign. Dont be around when that happens.....you dont need to.   POLL/SURVEY- Why Did You Leave The Organization of JW's?

  why did you leave the organization of jehovah's witnesses, and/or why are you contemplating leaving the organization of jehovah's witnesses?.

  i've tried to boil it down to the most likely answers based on all the reasons i have heard over the years from xjw's.

  a. because the watchtower bible & tract society does not have the truth.. b. because i had a personality conflict with other members of the organization.. c. because i discovered that the wtbts was not being honest or forthcoming about its history.. d. because serving jehovah was too difficult and i just wanted to be worldly and do wicked things.. e. because the governing body of jehovah's witnesses have proved to be false prophets.. f. because i found just cause to disagree with erroneous jw teachings.. g. because the governing body and/or elders were hypocritical.

  Phrases that control the mind and thinking

  some of the words that i always look out for in watchtower literature are the following:.

  without doubt...... evidently...... obviously....... we can conclude from this......... can you think of more?.

  a lot has to be learnt from blondie's watchtower studies and some of it is that when the wt society has no evidence for a supposition it plants one of these phrases that suggest stupidity on the part of the reader if he/she doesn't agree with what idea the watchtower society has come up with!.

  this is a non-study article in the witness only version of the april 15th titled " do you discern the evidence of god's guidance ?

  " essentially in this article the alleged " faithful slave " is telling witnesses that to be approved to survive armageddon- they will have to recognize the " faithful & discreet slave's " authority in their lives.. notice these direct quotes from pg.

  4 , " jesus christ is the assigned leader of the congregation.

  Hi Mr Flipper!

  I find it funny that God NEEDS representation actually...surely the bible speaks for itself? Are the Borg saying God cant do the job on his own? IDIOTS..... That is a ridiculous concept, they just want money, power, and status. One day, they will answer for this blasphemous attitude, I hope Im there to see it, and I will say "TOLD YA SO......" Hahaha, cant wait.

  i have not posted for a while and have actually not been on for a while but i have had to post cus i am just livid!!!.

  me and my husband and 2 children stopped going nearly a year ago after numerous issues, and basic doubts.

  while we were in the cong i had an 'incident' with a brother who claimed to love me and wanted to leave his wife for me.

  Remember how they treated you before you left? Sod that, if you loved these people youd have every right to be worried, but you dont care about them and they dont care about you, try to move on. Let the gossipers gossip and the slanderous slander you, concentrate on your lovely family, make new friends, and let it go........x

  SO! No tours of Bethel on April 29th, 2011 because they are giving it a "Spring clean..."....mmmmmm NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT EVERYBODY IN THE COUNTRY WILL BE WATCHING THE ROYAL WEDDING I GUESS THEN?????

  Also, didnt realise pioneer hours have been reduced from 90hrs to 70hrs.......thanks for posting.x

  You can call me Paula Wasblind, seeing as thats my name! Pam was my lovely mum who the JWs kept me from when she was dying in Intensive care, because they wanted me to attend the assembly. How dumb was I! No more!!!! xxxx
